Make Valentine’s Day Special With Handmade Jewelry

  • January 14, 2011 at 11:13 am

To make the 14th of February extra special this year you should buy your significant other one of a kind handmade jewelry for Valentine’s Day. This unique gift will make it clear to her that you are really thinking about her and when you give a great gift you are likely to get one back one way or another.

Handmade jewelry is far better than the mass produced jewelry you will find at average stores because each and every piece is truly unique. When you give handmade jewelry to your girlfriend or wife you are showing her that she is special to you.

Most commercial jewelry is made either by very lowly paid overseas workers or by machines. Compare that to the concept of jewelry made by someone who really cares about their work. I think it’s quite obvious what is more romantic.

I believe as a society we need to stop being fooled by marketing into thinking that what we need are certain logos or name brands. What’s a name brand really? It’s just marketing. Quality has very little to do with it. When I see someone carrying a name brand purse or wearing a name brand watch that costs ten times more than what it is really worth I do not think about how impressively fashionable they are, I think about how gullible they are.

It makes far more sense to me to spend money on original items handmade by real artistic people. The quality of artisan made jewelry is much higher and it feels so much better to me knowing my cash is going to a true artisan rather than some corporate pig.

This Valentine’s Day do something different. Order your girlfriend or wife some unique handmade jewelry. You will be doing your part to make this world a better more beautiful place. Most importantly you will be making it obvious to your lady how much she really means to you.

The Beatles USB is a great gift for a woman who prefers The Beatles over jewelry, but for most women Handmade Jewelry is the best choice.
