Valentine's Day is approaching. 1st Valentine's Day with partner. How should I plan if the two of us got work?

This is my 1st Valentine's Day spent with gf. she is not local and the two of us will have to work on that day. how should I make it a memorable one if I have a budget for it?

cook her a nice dinner at your place or her place, some nice meals that are easy to make:

Pasta Carbonara (noodles with cheese and bacon flavor)
Grilled Chicken ceasar salad

Or her favorite meal!

the first answer has a good idea
another idea would be, if you don't live in a cold area, then take her to the beach at night, bring candles and make a heart shape and lit them, and have a picnic there maybe or go out for dinner before you go to the beach? and bring two big blankets, so you guys can just lay there on one blanket and the other just in case you guys get cold, and just lay there, cuddle, looking at the stars and chat =]
