Creating Custom Cards for Valentine’s Day, Birthdays, Anniversary Word 2003 – Greeting Invintation

  • January 22, 2011 at 10:00 am

www.schoolfreeware.com Valentine’s Day is February 14 2011 Valentine’s Day in different countries Latin American: Día del Amor y la Amistad (Day of Love and Friendship) Turkey: Sevgililer Günü (Sweethearts’ Day) Denmark and Norway: Valentinsdag Sweden: Alla hjärtans dag (All Hearts’ Day) Finland: Ystävänpäivä (Friend’s Day) Estonia: Sõbrapäev (Friend’s Day) This tutorial will show you how to make a greeting card just like the ones found in the stores. Making your own cards with pictures and custom sayings can bring a sentimental touch that store bought cards do not have. This tutorial focuses on Mother’s Day but the concept is the same in making cards for other holidays and occasions including: Father’s Day, invitations, birthdays, graduations, anniversaries, sympathy, get well, weddings, and thank you. This tutorial will use Card Stock 1/2 Fold Blank Greeting Cards that are 8 1/2 x 11 Inches I was able to get these cards from a local office supply store for under a card with envelope. You can use different size 1/2 fold cards as long as the page settings are set to the size of your card. MS Word 2003 will be used in this video tutorial to make the cards. Check with your printer’s manual on how to ornate the paper for printing.
