How to have a good time on Valentine's without furthering relationship?

I thing sort of developed between me and this girl but I don't want it to get very serious. I feel like it is awkward timing because Valentine's Day forces you to either be together or not. I feel like it would be awkward to distance myself tomorrow, but I don't really want to send the wrong message about my intentions. What would you do?

tell her straight up front. be honest. even if she takes it hard, hey, at least you didn't lie or waste any more of her time~!
