PUMA @ The Towers: Vertical Marathon, Dubai, May 28th

Standing at 265 meters high, with 1334 steps & 52 floors to climb, over 200 contestants kitted out in PUMA kicked off the Vertical Marathon at the foot of The Jumeirah Emirates Towers at 8am in Dubai — UAE on Friday May 28th. Once up, they where greeted with the PUMA party elevator; complete with disco lights, pumping music and dancers – to bring them down to earth after their grueling physical challenge. Serving as a ‘surprise mascot’ was a legendary world famous climber; best known for scaling the Empire State Building in several Hollywood movies ;) PUMA ran an interactive competition for the racers giving them a chance to win fantastic PUMA goodie bags by guessing the number of shoes placed strategically along the course; another good reason to beat the clock. For the third year running, PUMA got involved with the Vertical marathon to help organize and raise funds for the independent humanitarian medical organization, Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) www.msf.org
