Valentine day gifts for a guy into technology and stuff like that?

we've been together for almost 2 years. he loves technology, always wanted to know about the next new thing, but also is very artistic and is a art major. but he's also one of the cool guys. wats a nice gift i could get him?

There's always those chocolates in the shape of computer and keyboard. Easy on your wallet and easy on his taste buds. ^_^ quite a few stores would probably have them by now.

well depends on how much money you're looking to spend.

A macbook pro is great for artists who are into computer graphics, photography.

Some cheaper stuff would be like an ipod touch, a new cell phone (one of the ones that have a touch screen), or a mini camcorder/camera.

if you get him a gadget or game be prepared for him to be absorbed by the gadget or game instead of paying attention to you. It's always a possibility with us geeks, we just get excited about that stuff. So maybe Valentine's isn't the best time for a tech gift.

Go to his favorite shop and ask for a voucher so he can use when ever he wants and put it in a big box.

Something portable. Digital camera, wireless mouse/keyboard, really fancy headphones (noise cancellation), or camcorder.

Stationary stuff.
HD radio, wireless router (assuming a computer and want for WI-FI), food ( a way to a guys heart is to his stomach) computer game

I'm getting my boyfriend an ultra compact keyboard for his computer that has blue light up keys, instead of your standard solid color (black/white/gray/etc), about $50.00. I kid you not, he is PSYCHED for it.

And he works for Geek Squad. So I think he qualifies as a geek!
