Lauren Conrad splits from Kyle

Lauren Conrad has split from her boyfriend.

The former ‘Hills’ star and actor Kyle Howard have ended their three-year relationship, though the reasons behind their separation have not been made public.

It seems Lauren has turned to nature in order to keep busy following her split.

She tweeted: ‘Epp. Second day in a row I have almost stepped on a snake while hiking.(sic)’

Despite living her life in front of the cameras, Lauren, 25, managed to keep her relationship with the 33-year-old hunk largely out of the spotlight.

She said earlier this year: ‘By the time I had met Kyle, I had already perfected my ‘double life’. There was my TV life and my real life.’

Lauren recently revealed she and Kyle never celebrated Valentine’s Day (14.02.11) and admitted she isn’t ‘romantic’.

She said: ‘For me it’s all about the little things that people do. I’m so not a romantic.

‘I don’t think you need a specific day to celebrate your love for someone. I think it can be a Tuesday. It’s an everyday thing.’
