McDonald’s under candlelight

  • February 13, 2010 at 10:49 am

A trio of Northwest Ohio mcdonald's restaurants are getting into the romantic mood this weekend. The mcdonald's in Napoleon, Archbold, and Wauseon are offering up candlelight dinners for Valentines Day. While some people are planning reservations at fine dining establishments, these three mcdonald's are offering up the same ambiance for a fraction of the price. "We turn all the lights down," said Jim Rivello, who owns the three restaurants. "We have candles on all the tables, and flower centerpieces. If you want to bring the family, or you just want to bring your special someone, like I said, it's a fun time. It's very romantic." The three mcdonald's are also offering a buy-one-get-one-free deal, along with entertainment. The candlelight special runs only on Valentine's Day, from 5-9 pm This is the ninth year the restaurants have done something special on Feb. 14.
